I have worked as a legal advisor since 2000. In 2025, I founded my own law firm, Owl Advokat AB. Prior to that, I served for over nine years as a lawyer and global equity partner at Bird & Bird LLP. Earlier in my career, I was a specialist partner at Hannes Snellman Ltd and worked as a tax advisor at firms including EY and Skeppsbron Skatt.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in tax law and have extensive experience in transactions, structuring, tax litigation, and ongoing tax advisory. I assist clients with everything from individual tax issues to full responsibility for tax and structuring matters in both private and public transactions. I regularly represent clients in disputes with the Swedish Tax Agency and in court proceedings. In exceptional cases, I also accept board assignments.

My approach is proactive, with a strong focus on understanding my clients’ business, strategy, and goals. This enables me to provide tailored, business-oriented advice. I have particular experience advising clients in the real estate and construction sectors, the financial industry, and among technology-intensive start-ups, including those in the medical, tech, and gaming sectors. My clients range from small, entrepreneur-led businesses to multinational groups, investment funds, and high net worth individuals with complex financial affairs.

Chambers High Net Worth (2025) ranks me in Band 1, Chambers Europe (2025) in Band 2, and Legal 500 (2025) lists me as a Leading Partner. Since 2013, I have been recognized as “Highly Regarded” by International Tax Review / World Tax. Lexology’s Index (formerly The International Who’s Who of Corporate Tax) recommended me as early as 2010 and continues to do so in 2025. I have lectured at Nordic Lawyer Academy, Örebro University, BG Institute, and JUC. I have published numerous articles on national and international tax matters and authored both a book and a legal commentary. Selected publications are available under “Publications”.

I have been a member of the Swedish Bar Association since 2016 and was registered with the Solicitors Regulation Authority in the UK as a foreign lawyer from 2016 to 2025.
